The Midwifery Model of Care

We believe pregnancy and birth are normal life events - not a disease that needs to be managed.

Our model of care is based on respect for the intricacy of the natural physiology of childbirth and the belief that women’s bodies are beautifully designed for birth.

Midwives are trained to protect, support, and avoid interfering with the normal processes; thus we avoid unnecessary use of obstetric interventions. We provide full prenatal, birth, and postpartum care for mothers, as well as newborn care for your baby.

We value education, true informed consent, and shared decision-making. Your body, your health, and your birth belong to you.
